第1回のイノトークはパーソンズ パリ校よりBrigitte Borja de Mozota（ブリジット・ボージャ・ド・モゾタ）先生を迎えて4月16日（金）開催します。
In our first inno-talk (innovation talk) for the year 2010 we are very happy to receive Brigitte Borja de Mozota, from Parsons Paris, to discuss with the audience some future views on design management theories.
Starting her talk from reviewing the design thinking buzz through the emergence of the present economy of transition, she will analyze designer’s new roles and missions.
Based on her expertises developed in her book “design management”, she will talk what “design thinking” means in terms of ROI and design value issues. Along the lecture we will learn her original concept of “designence” model.
In the lecture, Nanako Kavauchi, designer, design management scholor and translator of Brigitte’s book “design management”, will also give a chat on the Japanese edition of the book.
Brigitte Borja de Mozota started her career as a manager first as a buyer in the chain of department stores AU PRINTEMPS, second as an entrepreneur managing her import company of designers gifts.
She passed her PhD in management science in 1985. Her thesis on “The role of design in marketing strategy” was the first research on design in management science conducted in France.
Brigitte Borja de Mozota is now Professor at Universite Paris Ouest (ex Paris X) and she is also Director of research at Parsons Paris School of Art + Design.
